Gallery 28 is a functional space that changes its look and concept every 10, 14 or 31 days. It is located in Kapana district in Plovdiv, at 29 Zhelezarska Street.

We carefully select the visiting artists for quality and uniqueness and they are from all fields of art.

To exchange thoughts, ideas and emotions with the stories of living works and stories of creators who feel satisfied with the achieved success, of being noticed, heard and appreciated.

Gallery 28 Initiatives

In 2019, Gallery 28 is the initiator of the events “Cinema in front of Gallery 28”, which are part of Plovdiv – European Capital of Culture, as well as part of the cultural calendar of the city. They are a series of outdoor movie screenings of precisely selected, bulgarian, short movies under the stars in Kapana district. In the presence of actors from the productions, the audience once again got familiar with the Bulgarian art in the field of cinema.

In 2020, Gallery 28 participated in the competition “Best Young Entrepreneur of Plovdiv” with the idea for the development of the online platform Gallery 28. As a winner in the competition, Gallery 28 receives funding for the development of the platform for Bulgarian art and culture.
